Most pertinent info:

When does the Beta Weekend Event begin?  NEW!

    The event will begin at 12:01 a.m. Pacific Saturday morning. It will end at Midnight Pacific on Sunday night.

When can I access or set up my Beta Weekend Event account?  NEW!

    You will be able to set up or access your account when the event opens, at 12:01 a.m. Pacific on Saturday, November 6th.

It's hard to see why they couldn't start it about 6 hours earlier; after all they are only doing this event once a month.

Just watch a few news boards -- vault (eeechh), etc. You can bet there are folks out there launching their client every few minutes to test if its open early and they'll jump on a board to post that it's up.

I read they were amazed that when the event opened early last week they had 5000 people log in within 20 minutes. Forum/board news spreading...kinda like a plague....

I think 12am Pacific is a great idea. Maybe they will open early (or not), but are you more than likely to play Saturday morning or until midnight Pacific on Sunday? (Or, for the rest of us: 1am, 2am, or 3am).
