45 minutes in I've played for about 10 minutes, watched 25 minutes of codec conversations and another 10 minutes of cutscenes.

Why would I watch (oh sorry, "play") this lousy movie when I could pop in a genuinely good movie instead?

Verdict: Watch Big Trouble in Little China instead.

Now here's Reg to explain why this review is totally unfair because I pocketed the vast amounts of money I was paid to write this without playing this dull piece of shit to completion.

Take it way Reg!  awesome, for real

That's not fair, I can't think of many games where you SHOULDN'T watch Big Trouble in Little China instead. I want a recount.

Oh, Twin Snakes is crap. Everything MGS before 4 is crap in comparison. So that's not fair either. I think I'll watch BTiLC instead.

I was going to say something to the affect of "don't taunt people in shit that shows up on the front page", but it doesn't appear these recent BiiFs have.

Still, you're a classy dude, dude.

Actually yea, Rasix is right. This shouldn't go on the frontpage.

I actually checked to make sure my KOTOR review wasn't on the front page before I posted this. Is it a nightly thing? No problem moving it.

I fully admit the only reason I posted this was Reg asking repeatedly if I had any more ill-informed opinions I'd like to share. I wouldn't want to dissapoint him.

That said, Twin Snakes is staying in its box forever. Shitty game, if I can even call a long codec conversation a "game."

I remember reviewing this back in the day. It's a fun way to check out the MGS1 storyline again but it shows some really lazy design since they made no size/scope changes to any of the areas while giving you MGS2's first person shooting...which makes the game hilariously easy. The ocelot fight is funny as hell since you can just drop into first person and shoot him repeatedly until you win, without moving even.

The cutscenes are all tricked up by some Japanese action movie director. You get to see Snake do a flying wheel kick on a missile while slamming a dew. The Ninja hallway slaughter scene is super brutal and awesome though.
