Woo:  Just made one that doesn't need the 'cheat' stick wedged at the bottom:

i'll peek after I complete mine.

edit: BTW - I think this is everything a social flash game should be, not only is it fun to play but it is almost as much fun to see what everyone else's solutions were.

Went back and did Awash again to see if I could just push the balls off the other side with enough brute force...

Heh heh, that's awsome. If you'd angled the nose down a bit, you coulda swum under the mess, which would have been cool too.

I should get back to nature, too.  You know, like going to a shop for groceries instead of the computer.  Maybe a condo in the woods that doesn't even have a health club or restaurant attached.  Buy a car with only two cup holders or something. -Signe

has anyone bought the full version and what do they think of it.  Just wondering if it is going to offer a significant amount of more play because the free version seems to offer enough to satisfy until border with the whole thing.  The build your own course thing sounds fun but not if no one you know can play it or even view it.

I think it's in my nature to always attempt the simplest possible solutions (vehicles, brute force, etc.).  I was sure this one was going to work, until halfway through or so.  I find the failures to be just as fun as the successes:

http://FantasticContraption.com/?designId=175076

Edit: and as expected, a slight modification made it work:

heh, see edit above.  My brain is hardwired to find the easiest possible solution.  I do a lot of trial and error too, so I will run things dozens of times knowing they won't work fully, but just trying to see if I am on track.  Some of the failure are hysterical.  Like when you forget a key piece or two, hit start and then all the shit just falls straight down and does nothing.

I'm laughing so hard at myself right now that I have tears in my eyes.  At work.  Forgive my lack of originality, and enjoy the spectacle:

I decided to try to reverse-engineer Ozzu's awesome design to better understand it, and came up with this variant where one vehicle does the whole job:  http://FantasticContraption.com/?designId=177075 (edit: made it better)

Since I quickly become stumped at the two really hard ones, I am now dedicating my time to either really simple or really stupid solutions to some of the easier ones:

Solution to Unpossible. Even though it's the 20th puzzle, I'm not sure it's the hardest. I had a harder time with the "Handling" puzzle.

I bought the full version earlier tonight and it's pretty sweet. There are hundreds of user-designed levels. I just jumped right in and went to the hardest one I could find in the first few pages of levels. The one I found I'm sure will supply hours of entertainment. Think of the Tube level, except about halfway up the tube, it hangs a right, and a few lengths over from that, it goes up again.

How in the hell I'm supposed to do this, I have no clue, but it sounds like fun.

The good thing about the level list is that there's a rating for level quality and a separate rating for level difficulty. Good way to filter out the riffraff.

I'm really happy with this really simple stair climber. The dangling box makes it constantly reorient, so even tough it takes ten minutes to clear this level, it never gets stuck.

Big Ball frustrated me for the last hour, don't have a clue what to do, and I'm trying to avoid seeing how its been done. I even tried to brute force the bar under the ball using a 16 wheel vehicle, but no luck.
I can catapult a small wedge behind the ball, but its too small to help, or its too heavy to get there. I even found a way to bump the top ball and have it roll down, but that really doesnt help in any way :P

So Instead, I tried down under, which people were complaining about.

Amazingly, got this not so graceful solution in about 5 mins:

See, right there is smart! I lack this kind of imagination, and probably why I find the game awsome. It reminds me that I still have stuff I can learn, which at my age, is great.

Trying to see how many can be done without using wheels. More than I thought.

Other fun things to try are to make the thing stop in the area, not just get into it.

Mmmm I have to stop playing this.

Ok this one is stumping me: http://FantasticContraption.com/?designId=201185 (Down Under)

Can anyone think of a way to adjust what I've done there to make it doable w/o the wheel?

(managed it wheeless another way but cant get it to stop there: http://FantasticContraption.com/?designId=201090)

Bleh: I found someone who managed it. Fucking awesome, though: http://FantasticContraption.com/?designId=139121
