If you want a small chance at getting in the WOTLK beta, the opt-in button on the Account Management page is now available.

I don't think so, at least not this early in the game. My wife got in at the very end somehow but I forget how she signed up. I'm not much for xpac betas, they'll just accelerate my boredom with new content. |

one wonders just how done wotlk is. At this rate they could very well release before war, which would hurt warhammer because people will think twice about stopping mid 70's to jump on another game.

I am almost willing to bet money that it will be released the weekend before Thanksgiving in the US. Thus hitting the 4 year anniversary of launch almost on the head. It was the original launch date intention for TBC to hit the 2 year anniversary as well and it got pushed to dec then january. They had a much bigger lead time between their last content patch (which was late, possibly due to more resources being funneled to WotLK?) and November than they did for the first expansion. Naxxramas was opened the first week of June 06, and it took 6 months for the expansion to hit. Sunwell hit in March, so you think about that similar lead time would work. |
