No, it's a Deadliest Catch THE GAME trailer.

"And now you have to signal the crew to prepare the pot.  Make sure you slow down so that they have time to get ready!  Great!  Now press A to launch it over the side."

I think I am going to hold out for Dirtiest Jobs the Game.

You know, a Deadliest Catch game COULD be interesting and fun. It won't be, but damnit, it COULD.

I just watched the video. Fuck that looks bad. Liike catheter wrapped in razorwire bad.

But seriously, a game based on that show could be really interesting for a bit, involving economic sim, a bit of action (tossing the line to grab the pots), managing crew members according to personality, injuries and stamina, etc. I'm not saying it would be an all-time great game, but it could be fun.

That, however... total shit.

Yeah, that was the part that got me as well. Before that, the game looked way too simplistic and easy, but that animation was just ass.

I was at best buy today and they have it in.  It's actually a released game.

I was sorely tempted to buy just to do a BIIF but, uh, 59.99?  Errm, no.

It could. If they caught an intergalactic zombie and a virus spread on the boat and the boat docked at land and it went all Resident Evil. Americas Top Model would be a better game in original concept.

It's got the water from Silent Hunter III.   (edit) ... actually I think it is Silent Hunter III reskinned - the sound effects are also SH III (OK it could technically be from SH IV which is basically a tweaked III).

I dunno, maybe it'll be the next craze like all those deer hunting clones a few years back. Love the soundtrack - epic guitar solo for laying crab pots.

I concur, my friend. One crab patty, coming right up.

Do they have a 7-day return policy or anything like that? Because it would be worthwhile if that were the case.

Worthwhile for me to read, I mean.
