Yep, I'm in Houston. It's a large city, but I wonder if I know them.
Aww, thanks Stray. I probably do belong in Austin, but that would just encourage my weirdness.

I'm not expert, but my favorite bar in Atlanta that is still open is Laseter's Tavern.

Why am I homeless? Why do all you motherfuckers need homes is the real question. They called it The Prayer, its answer was law Mommy come back 'cause the water's all gone

My personal hangout is usually Central City Tavern in Atlanta. The food there is very solid for a bar, and they sport a pretty full menu of my favorites. Plus, it's one of the few bars in Atlanta run by UGA folks instead of having a bunch of retarded GA Tech garb all over the walls.

Any NYC list that misses the Bond Street Lounge, Burp Castle or the bar at Etats-Unis is indeed retarded. Then again, I'm glad they're not on the list, it'll keep the poseur sophisticates outta my spots.

Tuned in, immediately get to watch cringey Ubisoft talking head offering her deepest sympathies to the families impacted by the Orlando shooting while flanked by a man in a giraffe suit and some sort of "horrifically garish neon costumes through the ages" exhibit or something. We need to stop this fucking planet right now and sort some shit out. -Kail

Geez, I thought you were an Austinite too. Or at the very least, a Round Rockian.

It's been several years since I lived there, but I'm surprised Savannah didn't garner more than one location on the list.
As for Miami, where I live now, it's not really a city for bars, so when someone opens a new place it's usually a club instead. Automatic Slim's is easily better than the four lower rated ones on there though.

Savannah's too weird/closed-off to garner much national attention to their bars. A good friend of my family once said that when she was moving from there, her friends told her, "You can't leave Savannah. If you do you'll realize how crazy you really are."
