I put the 'shill' in 'cockmonkey'.

on: May 10, 2008, 09:18:39 AM

Just a small update.

Two weeks ago I got married...on the beaches of St George Island, FL. It was a beautiful ceremony.
We then spent 11 or so days in the Tahitian Islands. One in Tahiti and then split evenly between Moorea and BoraBora.
If you are thinking about ever going to Tahiti feel free to ask me for some info or feedback. For example, Bora Bora while better known sucked compared to Moorea, and if you want I can elaborate as to why.

Oh and in two days I am quiting the NYPD, leaving NYC and spending the summer as a wilderness guide in Maine. God how I have come to loathe this town.

Anyway...pictures!!!! Enjoy! (I only posted one from each category for those with slow bandwidth...click on links for the rest)

Oh in case anyone is wondering all the photos, above and below water, were taken with in Olympus 770SW. Its rated down to 10 meters. We took it down to about 15 meters depth with no problems.

Dude, that shark totally needed to be tasered. Hah hah, just joking! Seriously, congratulations, sounds like you had the time of your life!

I should get back to nature, too.  You know, like going to a shop for groceries instead of the computer.  Maybe a condo in the woods that doesn't even have a health club or restaurant attached.  Buy a car with only two cup holders or something. -Signe

That place looks amazing, I'd never heard of Moorea before, now I really want to go there.

This made me wonder, what actually would happen if you shot a Taser into water? I'm guessing they wouldn't really work so well if you're already under.

Congrats dude. I hope you are prepared for all of your stuff to gradually be shifted to a small, inaccessible closet somewhere.

Congratulations on the wedding, and swapping from copper to nature guide.

Really good pics, too.
