On why the iPhone needs real buttons:

Let's say there's an event that needs a photo as quickly as possible. You're at an international press conference and take the wrong door. You enter and see George W Bush with his hand down Condi's pants! It's a photo for both the history books and the tabloids.

He posits the imaginary keyboard would double as a (multi)touch pad as well. Seems like such a device would be doable for $500-$600. The PSP itself is only $250, an iPhone is $300-$400, a Sony DSC-T300 is $400 (touch screen, 10 megapixel, and 5X optical), and a Sidekick LX (has a similar keyboard) is $300-$400.

PSP is just a tad too big to be carrying around in your pocket all the time as you would with a cellphone.

I also hope the iWish is being powered by a Fuel Cell.
