What the hell ever happened to her, anyway? She was up there with Phoebe Cates as an object of lust and then just dropped off the radar. Was Short Circuit really that big of a nail in her coffin? |

She went from this:  To this:  Ally Sheedy was, IMO, at her all-time pinnacle of hawtness in 1983's War Games. As she was born in 1962, that would make her about 21.....which, in my experience is about the right range for a young woman to reach her hawtness peak. Though her portrayal of Allison Reynolds in The Breakfast Club, along with Ringwald's Claire Standish, may have subconciously conditioned me from a young age to lust after goth chicks and preppy redheads.
