Oracle is creating a segment with 640 but I need 660. My DBA is stumped and so am I. Calling all cars!
Why am I homeless? Why do all you motherfuckers need homes is the real question. They called it The Prayer, its answer was law Mommy come back 'cause the water's all gone
"You have all recieved youre last warning. I am in the process of currently tracking all of youre ips and pinging your home adressess. you should not have commencemed a war with me" - Aaron Rayburn
Sounds like the type of thing a company like Coca-Cola would have a mostly useless multimillion dollar support contract with Oracle for. For the kind of money you're probably paying you should have Ellison's cell phone number to bitch him out .
What action is causing this issue? Do you have an ORA error?
If it is during startup then it can be because system settings don't allow a big enough shared memory segment, if it's during normal running it could be because the SGA is too small for what is happening.
If you have a problem like this, at least be online so I can send PMs or AIMs! Don't wander off!
