Since none of us have been on their frigate class this is a no-go.  Ah well. Everyone keep their eyes open for the next PVP-BASIC that they run...

Right, this one is thanks to Hoax, who spotted that Agony Unleashed have a wolfpack (all in destroyers) pvp training class - their wolfpack ops - on the 19th of April at 1900 Eve Time:

Register for their boards and sign up for this!   They run great training classes, and you should get plenty of kills, too.  I'll sponsor the class for all BAT, F13 and DF members*, so bankrupt me, please.

*Send a note of the character you signed up for as it appears on the operation thread on the Agony forums.  I will send you the cash.  If there are more than 20 applicants (1/4 a billion in fees) I'll start dividing it pro-rata  Oh ho ho ho. Reallllly?[/s]

I hope I can make this, I really like flying a destroyer.

I've been on both of those courses and I can attest to the usefulness and fun you'll have on them. Also if you graduate from a class then you can attend the same class as often as you want in the future as an alumni for free (space permitting).

What are the odds we'll end up having to fend off swarms of destroyers on the that saturday?

Smarties won't save you. Check their killboard.

On the night I did the Wolfpack course we killed a couple of expensively fitted faction smartbombers with no loss to our fleet. We also dismantled several gate camps and the only loss on our side all night was me going home after the course solo without bothering to scout the gates en route.

If we get enough people can we get our own course instead of all of us trying to get into the basic one at different times/dates?

We could probably drum up quite a few players between BAT/DF/AM/F13.

I don't know why we're not doing these things anyway.  More Red v Blue, if nothing else!

Why don't we fit out a shitton of destroyers too, and get some awesome desty vs. desty combat going?

Unless it going to directly help me kill stuff in 0.0, I don't want kill other bats.  These ridiculous scenerios where we split into teams and kill each other in a fair fight are worthless for me trying to live and survive in prov.

FIFY.

Seriously though, they aren't meant to help one person--they are meant to help all of us (including alternate fleet commanders I would assume!).

I'd kill to have a couple of "no death" PvP-like engagements with the rest of the crew myself.

Come on the test server op tomorrow.  We'll be practising all-out gang combat.

t1 frig fights are not useful at this point because they end way too f'ing fast.  I'd be much more interested in a cruiser-bc-bs rumble next Sat/Sun optime that we have nothing going on.  Cease fire once you've taken someone to 75% armor, try not to pop anybody.  We'll just take some pvp ships up to Mista or somewhere near Provi and have at it.

Everyone who wants to pvp should have pvp fitted ships handy we'll divide up based on hulls and have at it, rep up then go another round.

Yah, excited for the corp as a whole on that one--unfortunately I won't be able to join myself--it's a working weekend :(
