I wonder what all of that would actually be worth if you parceled it out...

That's not that big. If he can list it all right there then it doesn't depress me. My DVD collection runs about 32 pages now, single spaced size 10 Times New Roman. Just by a glance I'd say his game collection is worth about $10,000. No one will play that old shit and games don't cost more with age. EXCEPT for the DBZ PS1 game, FF2 and 3 for SNES and the original (non ultra green) FF Tactics for PS1.

Edit: Ya know, I just read through the whole list - There are a TON of shitty games on there.

Bah - don't they teach youngsters the value of buying assets that appreciate, not just "hold their value".

Elvis collector plates hold their value... men's muscle cars can only appreciate... ;)

Wow, I never knew there was a D&D game for the 3DO.

Bruce, I actually played that game. One of my friends had a 3DO - the game was a sort of first-person/adventure/hack'em up RPG rpg. I remember it being quite a bit of fun at the time, but who knows how it would hold up today.
