I don't know why CoX has never done AC2's "fun damage" - if you turned it on, on the damage effects would be replaced by Batman-style "Pow!" "Biff!" "Socko!" graphics.

I logged into UO and got the usual holiday gift box, containing... an IOU for a gift.

I'm sure Schild will want one of these:

I linked that to my friend. The conversation went like this:

Him: wtf this patching system sounds awful. sounds like payiing for an expansion that releases no new content and not balancing your damn game.
Me: yeah ITS AMAZING
Him: i might cancel my preorder
Him: Oh wait....
Me: ahahahahahahaha
Him: Fucking april fools.

I remember reading that Sports Illustrated as a kid and wondering what the hell was up with that.

Plympton was a heck of a writer for what he did.

That zelda trailer had some SERIOUS production values. Now I want to see that movie.

I didn't get to watch it with sound until now - wow, yeah, that's a pretty slick.  I'd rent it based on that trailer, if it were real.

Equips only in the appearance slot  awesome, for real

There's also a quest for a tin metal helm house item that's sparkly when activated and some house item playing cards that launch LoN when clicked. Had a good laugh at the companion cube chests.
