Holy shit.

There needs to be a Nobel Prize in food, and whoever invented that should get it every year until he dies.

Good God, the filling possibilities are endless.  Melted cheese in a bacon bowl?

Ahem. Bacon salt.

This is good. But could be better.

What's better than bacon? More bacon, with salt.

I was thinking scrambled egg might just be the perfectly simple complement.

With bacon salt.

I think I might be preaching to the choir about this product.

I'm thinking an omelete wrapped in a crepe stuffed in a bacon bowl topped with hash browns and covered with syrup.

You shut up.  Don't tell us what is and isn't bacon.  If we call something bacon, it's goddamn bacon.

Those bacon cups, BTW, are absolute genius. I am in awe.

It's not often referred to as "Canadian Bacon" in Canada, that's what you Americans call it for some reason.  We normally just call it back bacon or peameal bacon.

I imagine it's sort of like how people in Scotland don't usually call whisky scotch, they call it whisky.

I'm pretty sure it's can still happily be called Scotch in Scotland as they still get whiskey and other foreign sourced stuff there.

I think the non-Scotch whiskey is known as 'shite'.

If only we had someone from Scotland for an authoritative answer.  cry

Fuck people, we call it Back Bacon. We use it as a substitute for ham in fried situations, like on an eggs benny for example. We call side bacon...  Bacon!

Since we are discussing bacon, I will chip in my opinion on it: No one ever cooks it enough. If I pick up a piece by one end, it should not bend. It should be crispy, but not quite burnt.

I like it cooked well, but within bending parameters, bonus if juicy.
