Disaster struck the UK today, as the worst earthquake to hit for 25 years very nearly shook the country IN HALF. Happily internet connections are just about holding up, so we can still report out of the disaster zone. It is thought that at least one person was hurt in Market Rasen, Lincolnshire. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/main.jhtml?xml=/news/2008/02/27/nquake927.xmlhttp://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/7266668.stmPS. I hear the US is already swinging into full alert and you can expect the first aid package in about two weeks.

Well, if BBC murder mysteries are anything to go by, every hill, dale and quaint little hamlet is rife with murderers, so we may as well finish them off.

I should get back to nature, too. You know, like going to a shop for groceries instead of the computer. Maybe a condo in the woods that doesn't even have a health club or restaurant attached. Buy a car with only two cup holders or something. -Signe

Actually you just need to go to Midsomer and wait. Not only do murderers trot through at a rate of at least one a week, but so do all the different villages in which murders take place, magically morphing into being part of Midsomer for the duration of Barnaby's investigation. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Midsomer_Murders_filming_locations

In fairness I was on a night out and missed it entirely. Apparently one of my housemates thought someone was having really vigorous sex in our house. But the psychological trauma is still there
