Disaster struck the UK today, as the worst earthquake to hit for 25 years very nearly shook the country IN HALF. Happily internet connections are just about holding up, so we can still report out of the disaster zone. Well, if BBC murder mysteries are anything to go by, every hill, dale and quaint little hamlet is rife with murderers, so we may as well finish them off.

Actually you just need to go to Midsomer and wait.
