Logitech G3 to my left as it's one of the few high precision mice that's ambidextrous and not too insane with the number of extra buttons and LEDs... plus I like the finish on it. Original IBM Model M Keyboard in the center for chat and typing. Ideazon Fang gamepad to the right because it's ambidextrous, has a large number of nice soft keys in an ambidextrous kayout (including multimedia keys) and is quite comfortable to rest your wrist on. I'm pretty happy with this setup.

I have a bunch of copperheads (using one now with the laptops, to heel with touchpads!) and a deathadder. I prefer the deathadder for games, the copperheads for photoshop.
I think it's all pretty much personal preference and size of hands. I have small hands, and prefer the razer mice over all.
