Guys.

The game has been put on hold while the Internal Affairs team looks into this thread split.

This bothers me because the QA team is also IA.

Sigh. I think we need more funding.
Shit. Does this mean no more space unicorns with harps?

What is an HR perspective?  Human Resources?  Or Human Remains?  Or some Canada thing.  I'm not sure so I can't commit to understanding it.

I won't be able to design the harp mechanics until I finish up coding the fetapault. Luckily it's almost done.

I gotta say... I live for derails. Love em. I look in the cloverfield thread just to see if the subject has finally changed to something else.

This sort of talk is not conducive to a game development environment.

Isn't that what makes it precisely appropriate?

Guys I know that this wasn't in the design or the spec but I was messing around over the weekend and I've managed to code in a really neat, innovative new targeting system that I reckon will be a complete cakewalk to patch in on top of the current combat mechanics!  It might have a few knock-ons in other areas, but those would be restricted to combat, movement and skills.  Nothing else even need to be touched.  I showed it to some of the other guys and we're all super-excited.

Given that we still have a few months until alpha release shouldn't we go with it for now and just roll it back if we encounter anything too messy, nearer the time?

If that was that twitch system you put together that can be controlled with a wiimote then hell yeah!

I love it, Endie!  Let's do it.  And make sure to not use any of our revision control systems so it is impossible to yank out afterwards.

Hahahaha!  I'm really good at this!
