Trying to install CoD4, but getting a hang up at "Preparing to Launch Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare". 

It's 100 percent downloaded, ready to go...but that.

FWIW, googled it and didn't find much on it.  CoD4 website is bunk. 

Also, running 64bit Vista Premium.  Everything is 'normal' stuff.

I had the same problem with Bio-shock, in fact it froze during download a couple of times.  Just shutdown steam (seems to stay resident for a few mins), restart steam, and hit launch again.

Finally got it to work.  Had to 'run as administrator', delete some file in CoD4 and check file integrity.
