FOX is one of the world's most renowned entertainment companies and we're excited to develop an online game based on one of its leading intellectual properties.

Want to know what "leading intellectual property" they are talking about?

Find out and have yourself a good laugh.

P.S.: Rather old news, wondered why I couldn't find it here anywhere

This actually makes some sense, if they plan to push the IP a bit more.

Bah, no adult is going to play one of these cutsey wootsie animals in this game!

By the way, when are they implementing Pandaras in WoW anyway?  I'm so sick of playing my Tauren.   I've been switching to my female gnome lately.  It's the one with the big purple poms on her head.

Starting quest - collect 5 acorns on the glacier.

That movie is perfect for conversion to a MUMORPUGER!

This game will annhilate WoW's numbers.

At least on Fox News' reports.  Remember, news is what THEY say it is.

I hear ya guys on the Fox news thing and all, but... is it really necessary to associate the news outlet with all of the other stuff they do? I mean... It's like one of the oldest film companies. And 99% of what they do today has nothing to do with O'Reilly's shenanigans.

Respect is earned.  Fox has done a lot to trade respect for revenue over the past two decades.  Yes, they are doing very well financially... but they whored themselves out to get it.

Extremely oversized, go for long distances and then crash and kill hundreds and thousends of people?

Sounds like desirable ending for Fox.

Would make for great news on, don't know- CBS?

Again, I don't understand the hate/doomcasting or whatever it is here.

Besides, all media conglomerates have their faults. What makes them worse than Sony, Disney, or WB? What standard am I supposed to be holding them up to here exactly? And why is any of that all that relevant to a game based off of Ice Age?

Yeah, but companies like that are such a huge beast that the hand basically doesn't know what the foot is doing. Fox News is just one small segment, and has next to nothing to do with it's entertainment divisions, especially video game ones. This is as silly as criticizing Mickey Mouse for something Jim Rome said, or refusing to watch Batman Begins because my Roadrunner internet service sucks.

I would have to say that FX is pretty good.

I haven't really watched anything on FX, but my friend tells me that Michael Chiklis could kick John McClane's ass. That's a bold claim imho. I'm tempted to see for myself.

Yes. Everything in Rupert Murdoch's empire is tainted.

The Shield was very good early on, but it just got to be too much; too much over the top.  But yeah, Michael Chiklis oozes badassness.  He'd take McClane down in about 4 rounds.

Really? Season 4 of the Shield was probably the most laid-back of all of them, and 5 was excellent. I guess I do see that they stretched a bit to keep up the capers...always getting into trouble. But season 3 was probably the peak of that out-of-the-frying-pan-and-into-the-fire plotting.

It's Always Sunny in Philidelphia is quite good as well. I liked the first season of Nip/Tuck and Damages seemed good though I missed most of it.

The only reason I don't watch FX more is that the '7' on my remote is busted.

I didn't watch it past season 3, which is where it lost me.
Nip/Tuck was much the same way.  Lots of shock and awe early to make a name for itself, then it just turned into the surreal.  Now it just seems to be 'What can we do to push the cable censors even harder?'.

Oh well.

Or blaming John Smedley for MxO, or blaming Hartsmann for the NGE, or blaming all of Paramount for marginalizing Trek... come on, how are you surprised we're not antagonistic about all of Fox for their news channel reporters playing Decider on what is fact? wink

I won't spend one penny on anything fox related.  Rupert and Ailes assured this MMO that it won't see one penny of my money and I doubt I am alone.

Sweet now we can get our propoganda in MMO form!

I even have an idea for their intro quest

  -  "Travel to Church yard and stop 5 gay marriages"  your reward can be membership to the republican party  awesome, for real

Bill O'reily should be a raidboss IMO.
