Will be getting preview code and such (hopefully)? (They replied to a press request). Anyway, WHAT IS CHAOS WARS? Well, it's being published late February/early March by O~3 Entertainment. How they got the license? Don't know. Who gives ashit? It's an SRPG that brings together a handful of series. Or rather, the characters from them. Oh, why hello, box art.  Is that Yuri from Shadowhearts? OMG I THINK IT IS. Oh, look at all those logos in the bottom right. Man, what a conglomeration. Was it good? ...I don't know anyone that played it. Anyway, yea, I'm still baffled by how O~3 got the license for a game with Aruze, Red Ent, Atlus, and Midway Characters. Meh. Whatever. WOOO. Capcom vs. Namco next plz. |

Contest: Name each character without cheating and looking it up.
I'd fail miserably. Not because I haven't played most of them, but because I never manage to remember what the characters look like. I played a million hours of Final Fantasy and I can't tell the difference between Cloud Strife and Tidus.

Chaos Wars is a crossover between several companies' console role-playing game series: Aruze's Shadow Hearts, Atlus's Growlanser, Idea Factory's Blazing Souls, Gakuen Toshi Vara Noir, Spectral Force, Spectral Souls and Hametsu no Mars, and RED Entertainment's Gungrave and Samurai Police/Shinsengumi Gunrouden. That's why it's such a strange release. It's a crossover that makes no sense. |
