And I used to be GOOD at Transformers, too.  Fucking old age.

Maybe something a little easier for ole pops then?

Go-Bots are like the K-Mart of Transformers.

The old Gobots were kickass toys, in some cases superior to a comparable Transformer.  (In others not so much...)
The problem was how we got them outside of Japan.  A REALLY lame cartoon show, and a half assed backstory.

In that Megatron:Genesis comic (or whatever was the title) it had Megatron butchering Cy-Kill.

That was awesome.

Joo bastard!

Nah, we've got a few of the "playschool" transformers for the son-spawn too.  The Bumblebee one is about as complicated as the 80's version of Prowl.  The ability to manufacture much tinier and more detailed parts in toys (as first seen when you compare the 70's/ 80's Star Wars figures with todays multi-articulated and finely detailed versions) is being used very extensively in the new Transformers line.

As a result some of the things are really fucking delicate and complex, and just the *slightest* bit of pressure the wrong way pops off an arm or head.. or the whole set of legs.   Honestly, sometimes I think the things were designed for 30-somethings to sit on a shelf and remember their childhood rather than the vigorous, destructive play of a 5-12 year old.

Not Canon? Here's some 'not canon.'

Necrid apparently appears in Smash Bros Brawl.

So.. the game keeps getting pushed back because they're implementing like 4k characters from every videogame they can get their hands on then?  What next, "Morte is in Brawl!  Oh hey, so's Hello Kitty!"

50 characters total.

Still some unnanounced Squeenix characters.

Also, the side scrolling adventure mode from before is like full fledged RPG or some shit.

I'm usually disagreeing with schildy on the Wii being useless, etc, but the mandatory waggle-stick controls are going to fuck Smash Bros. And the sideways Wiimote is no Wavebird, let alone a 360 or PS controller.

I thought this was pretty stupid myself.  It was pretty much blatant fanboy handjobbing.
Sort of like the Tristar Godzilla getting totally punked by the real Godzilla in whichever 00s Gmovie did that.

Its TOO pandering and obvious.  Its more or less a scream of LOVE THIS CONSUMER PRODUCT.  LOVE IT.

Punching Hello Kitty in the head would be fun.

They needed a gladiator for Megs to stab, and they made it an homage to Go-Bots, for fun.
