This is what just kills me about Schild. He's actually a super cool admin, with a ton of patience, and a gentle touch. When I started posting here, he sent me a few PMs telling me to cool it down a bit, since I was getting ragged on some posts. His tone was amicable and understanding, and the issue was resolved quite quickly. I'm sure he extended the same to Geldon various times till he felt it was a lost cause.

That said, on all other things not related to f13 administration, Schild is a right nut job that needs therapy. Especially regarding movies.

If it keeps at that, I can't always say because I don't see the exact point when a thread was denned because of the time zone differences. Maybe always writing a short message in the thread at the exact point it was denned along with the denning would help there?

Endie, I hear ya, but you really shouldn't look at this event as isolated. When someone can't stop themselves from talking about themselves, can't stop making contrarian statements just to start arguments (they call them "debates" but there's nothing two-sided about it) and can't stop antics that compel all subjects to be about them, they end up pissing off a lot of actual and passive posters. And they do so in a way that compels people to tell them to stop, in public, which only gives that person the attention they are so craving.

It's definitely a personality thing. And it has, quite literally, been going on for years. Here and elsewhere. He has not changed at all, even while some people around him do.

This happening over time (as it did here) only ends up being a cancer in a community that is otherwise trying to have some good discussions, because people just get more pissed that one persons antics keep getting in the way.
