The Plebes are in shock when one of their number is tossed by the Patricians.  Not because it was undeserved, but because they have no input into the decision making which causes it look capricious and doubtful about their own well-being.  Which, it is somewhat capricious when the event is a month removed from the cause, and removing any attempt at cause-effect behavioral reinforcement on the Plebes.  Not that it matters, because the only option the Plebes have ever had was to leave Rome.

I am against both bannings, but I wanted Geldon to be muzzled additionally after I was actually enjoying reading a third thread he destroyed by replying over 5 times in a single page.  His posting was off the charts, he was at like 18/day at one point.  Since its unfair to require the f13 staff to waste time/effort cleaning up after Geldon I don't mind that ban.

Hyu/Tele/Mediocrity was banned originally for I don't even know what reason anymore.  He posted a ton of personal life stuff when nobody was asking (always annoying) and he posted a great deal but I honestly wasn't bothered by him as BigBlack at all.

Whenever it came up before the hammer fell I posted that I didn't think Bruce needed to be banned.  I think, if possible, people cared even less about what I was posting at that time though.  The furry stuff was creepy but led to lots of funny posts, I was usually glad Bruce was around if only for the hilarity that ensued when he was being a jackass with his charts.

Those are the only three posters I remember reading posts from that got banned to my knowledge.  I know Dark Vengeance was banned but that means nothing to me, I've just seen it come up at times like this.

In the end though, certain people have to spend time editing/removing/moving posts, that is work.  If they have to focus a bunch of attention on particular individuals and reach a "yo fuck this guy" level, then yeah sure get rid of him.  As random posters who are never asked to handle any of that shit I can't complain too loudly.  Furthermore I always find it helps to just imagine that the Green/Blue staff are getting lots of annoying whack PM's from these people which contribute to the bannings.  Also I always pretend Cheddar has no influence.  Living in an internet world where Cheddar has influence is a terrible thought, I can see how having it look like he helped make the ban decision could ruffle some feathers.

DV was banned because he was being a total dick behind the scenes. I told him that I wouldn't ban him if he could beat me in UT. I beat him 25-2. Or something utterly ridiculous. My game was much better back then. Anyway, we banned him. Then he got mad, made an account and tubgirled a birthday thread. Then he was IP banned and bitched at corpnews. Good riddance to that punk ass bitch.

Bruce was banned because, simply put, he's a loser. People hated him. And his argument is always, shouldn't you ban all the people that MAKE threads about me? Just like Geldon.

No, you ban the fucking source, and then threads don't do that. One death is greater than fifty.

I get most of the whack PMs as far as I know. I have about 3,000 PMs. I'd say about 10% of them are complaining about users. Most of the time I tell people that life sucks, get a helmet.

No love. I have simply constrained myself to the Politics Forum lately. Although I did take about a 5 month break for awhile.

I dont have the time to read through the rest of the forum these days. My job keeps me busy. And other than possibly Conan coming out, Im not all that interested in gaming these days either.

Maybe I will make a what's happening in the life of Broughden post in the general forum tomorrow, since Im off from work. Someone might care. Probably not.

I had no idea Hyu was BigBlack.  He played that remarkably well.  If he was in Japan and he's back, how'd ya'll tell it was him?

Rasix figured it out within 5 posts.

It became 105% clear when he mentioned japanese fetishists a few weeks ago.

To be fair, those 5 posts were all about AC Darktide?  Kind of a gimme.    Rasix confirmed with me via PM (as best I recall), I didn't once try to hide it.

Reasons for banning me vary.  I think the final straw the first time was when I told Haemish that Diablo epitomized everything wrong with gaming in general and Diku-gameplay in particular, and since then it's just been a matter of ban evasion, mixed in with my (still ongoing) love for Farnsworth Bentley (and anyhow, I challenge anyone with taste in fashion to dispute his sartorial choices - you can't argue with a man who owns his own line of custom umbrellas).

Frankly, Schild, I'm just pootered you never responded to my request to move the DDO board back to active status, seeing as how there was sufficient interest. 

Also, is it okay that Geldon bugs the shit out of me?  I know we should have solidarity for one another since, yeah, I get banned, he gets banned, but I'm not a complete fucking emotional wreck on a personal level like he is, I'm just a standard-issue douchebag with too many opinions on MMOs and a Jewfro.  I like bouncing opinions and ideas off of the peanut gallery here, and on a personal level I'm sure you're all swell folks, but I'd rather shoot myself than to fall to that level of approval-seeking on the internet, even if my life actively blew up around me as Geldon's seemed to.  You guys are... fellow hobbyists.

Now, have some funny that I didn't make.  Probably posted already somewhere on here, but whatevs.
