What we need is people joining f13 corp and chat, and really showing some initiative to learn to pew pew. Sign your name here, say you want to join us/help. You lurkers/posters around here take some time out from your big alliances and stop by for some fighting with an alt of yours.

Sunday, 4pm EST (21:00 GMT, eve time): F13 Wolfpack Hunt (time changed to be more Euro Friendly)

Should be able to fit: Afterburner or Microwarpdrive (preferred)
Warp Disruptor
Any one of these: Statis Webifier , Tracking Disruptor , Remote Sensor Dampener, ECM
Guns or missiles

Feel free to ask for a PVP fit for your ships, one of us will have one for you.

Bring a frigate or a cruiser anything you want. Expect it to go boom by the end of the night. I'll hook people up with some isk to cover loses. Please, post saying if you are going to come help...as well as your relative experience level...Come on peeps step on up!

Slayerik - Rifter or Stabber - Experienced in small gangs, not the best scout/scanner
Thrawn - Noob in an Incursus :)
Endie - Experienced : Blasterax
Bhodi - Noob: Blackbird (not total noob because you at least know your role!)
Chenghiz - Frigate :)
Dwindle - Experienced, will be flying something Minmatar  I assume
Vedi - Thorax - played for a while, but limited PvP experience
Slapshot76 - Unknown - Gang Experience (I'm making you fly a bait Drake bro)
Drogo - Noob in an Incursus :)
Sparky - Dictor Alt FTW

Thrawn - Experianced in running level 1 missions and accepting ISK handouts.

I'll look into it but I'm not sure if I'll be able to handle a Microwarpdrive before Sunday.  But I can just toss an afterburner and a couple standard missile launchers on my Badger II and use that for PvP right?

I can come, and i will come.  I'll be trying out my thorax, with web, point and MWD, blaster fit for decent damage.

My experience level is high so long as we get another 149 people.  Otherwise only moderate :)

You will need: Navigation IV , Afterburner IV , High speed Manuevering I ...thats like 3 days of training tops...navigation skills are always good, on any ship :)

You will need Electronics 3 for propulsion jamming as well.

I'll be flying a blackbird if someone will buy it for me or cover the platinum insurance or whatever. Total Noob.

I'll have high speed maneuvering by tomorrow. I have propulsion jamming and EW 2, I can fit webs, disrupters, dampeners, ECM if someone decides we'd rather have a tackler.

3x Assault Launchers (kin loaded, exp and EM in hold) (if I can't fit, these are the first to go)
1x Smartbomb (for drones)

5x 'Compulsive' Multispec jammers (maybe just jammer 1s)
1x Supplemental Scanning CPU

1x 'Compulsive' Signal Distortion Amp
1x 800mm or 1600mm Rolled Tungsten Plates depending on fit capability.

Tactic: lag behind main group, warp in at 70, piss them off by keeping the most dangerous locked down, stay aligned, keep at range, book out if I see people come for me because I'm tin foil. No idea how the ECM actually *works* but I guess I'll find out.

I should be able to fit that, or something very close to that. I should have engineering and electronics IV by Sunday as well. I need the scanning cpu, my targeting sucks right now. For some reason, quickfit doesn't seem to import my XML correctly, it says ithas an error, both from the evemon download and directly from the website.

I can most likely come in a tackling frigate. No MWD but I can fit an AB and so on. Actually I might be able to MWD too, we'll see.

edit: no MWD

You're way better fitting racial jammers.  Yes, it can be tricky remembering which ship is which race, but it's good practice and someone will shout it out if you ask (or find a chart).  The strength of a racial jammer against the correct target is waaay higher.

Also, I use eft instead of quickfit, myself.

I think you'll cap out pretty quick with multispecs. Try a mix of gallente and caldari facials and one multi. Double check EFT or Quickfit to make sure I'm remembering right.

Cap is also an issue, though with a BB and since they cut the cap needs for jammers by 40% it's not like it used to be.

If there are a few new players then let me know roughly where we'll be based and I'll haul up a bunch of ships and fittings from my alt's corp.  I have a frigate cache with a hundred or so ships there right now for my newer pvping members, together with thousands of modules and hundreds of thousands of ammo, so I can provide decent remounts for anyone who needs them to get back into a fight quickly.

This is presumably a joke, but GF ran a battlebadger op a couple of months ago which locked down a carrier and might just have had the dps to finish it, although if i remember rightly, some other people turned up (I think it was Tri?) and finished it off.

The only f13 office I know of is olo. So I guess that is as good a place as any to form.

So should I make sure to have extra turrets and jammers and guns and whatnot sitting at the f13 office to get myself back in space after I go boom?  This is all new to me, I can't wait to get blown up in a blaze of lasers and missles while mooning a battleship out my cockpit window.

Previous to our little adventure, I will be making people check that they have updated clones so that if they get podded they wont lose skill points. We will also set our clones to a common place, somewhat near the action.

Having a couple outfitted frigates or cruisers isn't a horrible idea.

My other idea, is quite a profitable one. It involves killing AFK haulers in High sec, though some people may have some moral problems with it :)

You want Uedema. It's the only .5 security system between Jita and Rens. Those extra few seconds before Concord shows up make a difference. :)

We're playing EvE, not WoW.  AFK = free loots even in high security if you've got the balls to blow em up in front of Concord....at least as far as I understand the game so far

I just realized though, I'm gonna loose all my implants if I get podded aren't I?

Thanks for the eurofriendly time!

Vedi - Thorax - played for a while, but limited PvP experience.

I set up Thorax since it seems most have chosen tackling or EW so far and we'll need some DPS. I can also scout, but then I'd like to break the implicit "no-T2-expect-inties" rules and bring a Falcon so I can participate in the pewpew. Or I can bring a Crow and tackle. Tell me if any of that is preferred to the Thorax.

Gah, Slayerik, you're one of those killing afk haulers? That has cost me around a billion :P. I've actually been killed in a T2 indy two times in highsec, which is a bit more impressive.

Thrawn, yes, you'll loose the implants then.

You can bring any ship you want as long as you understand it probably won't be coming home :)

And I have only killed one AFK hauler in my day, though I have some friends that make tons doing it.

I'll play, though I may be an hour late. I'll probably just see what ship we need and bring that.

We have an office at Olo, but we also have an office in Akora (0.3 system) - Akora is where all our spare modules are right now.

Slayerik, this is a great idea. Edit your post to show where we are meeting so we can make sure we are there in time. :)

If Slayerik wants to FC, I will scout in a Stiletto I suppose. Somebody practice directional scanners before, though.

May I suggest that Akora sucks and blows for PvP? The Geminate area is super blobtastic (no offense intended, those guys really bring it). The lowsec string there is just small and was relatively unpopulated last time I cruised through (granted, 'twas a very long time ago). I personally would suggest Syndicate, as it hopefully doesn't have any blues for TRI or RSF and does have some residents worth blowing up. I generally go in through Reblier.

I think we ought to go to 0.0 because the aggression rules are complicated enough without trying to throw in a criminal flag on top of that, and nothing kills an op like waiting for a 15min timer to expire.

Syndicate is a good idea, especially now MC have buggered off.  Are bruce still down in Fountain or did they just take the station from Rise then naff off back to Syndicate?  They really, really like to hot-drop carriers if they are around.  Seriously.  if we turn up on a gate with half a dozen small ships and don't keep moving fast enough there is a very real chance that someone from bruce will drop a carrier into a damn bubble just to get us.

I will be there, total newb at the game and PvP. I will be bringing a frigate with whatever I can fit on it from the list. I had been working on learning skills mostly so far, but I will do my best to change over and get the needed PvP skills before Sunday. Vendann is character name. I am Gallente. Can someone throw out which frigate I should use and a decent fit I should aim for?

Also, are we just going to join F13 corp on Sunday or do we need to join before then?

Another quick question, do we have a vent or TS to use?

F13's Teamspeak.

Join the f13 chat channel, ill get ya some cash. You can join the corp at your leisure.

Buy an Incursus.

Try to get Propulsion Jamming 1 and High Speed Manuevering 1 by then, if possible.

I was thinking we might need a heavily tanked bait ship, to get some noobs to aggress at a gate camp. I might bring my main in a crazy tanked Myrmidon or Deimos, just for baiting. I have a deimos that tanked a 20 man MM gate camp long enough to get back to the gate, and all but 1 of our guys got out.

But A ruppy with some punch is cool.

I don't believe that i am endangering goonfleet by revealing that this is our most basic incursus fitting:

Highslots
3x 125mm Railgun I's
Midslots
1x 1mn MWD(or 1mn Afterburner if you can't get high speed manuevring in time)
1x Stasis Webifier
1x Warp Disruptor
Lows
2x Overdrive Injector System (or 1 OD and 1 capacitor power relay)
Drone
1x Warrior

You can go with a blaster fitting, but your dps isn't huge anyway and this way requires a tiny bit less thinking about ranges.

I've not used Gallente ships before (just trained it), so the Thorax is new to me. I've just set up some basic fits, and it seems the optimal is really, really short when using blasters (around 2+3 km with Electron IIs). Anyone know if that is ok or will I not be able to track with my own transversal? Suppose running an MWD while orbiting at that range is just silly?  swamp poop  Might be a fun surprise if the fool webs me and is suddenly hit with 350 dps of course ;).

Should probably do some testing on random rats.

You can't orbit with MWD on at that range. You'll push out to 4-5km easy. Plus, you don't want to orbit in a Thorax. Approach for maximum pew pew.
