If you are truly intent on mining (in which case a 14 day trial is about right before you hate the game  ) then you might want to head to Providence once you're at the mining cruiser stage.  It's 0.0, but CVA and the rest operate a pretty strict NRDS policy so if you're not retarded about it you're pretty safe there.

To further explain (may not be needed): corps and alliances can set the standings of other corps or alliances, which is used to color-code your friends and enemies, usually blue for friends, red for enemies, and white for neutrals.  Then your corporate leaders can easily express policies such as  "we only allow our friends in our home space, trespassers will be shot" and "we'll only attack if provoked or at war with you, if you're neutral, come on in" as acronyms (NBSI and NRDS) respectively.

Fucking EvE, I'll be back for a month once this patch sounds like its all worked out.  Of course where I am and where my piddling assets are and wtf was going on with my character...  no idea.

I figure there is a damn good chance though I would have the least skills for somebody with my character birthdate, I've had him since the first month of launch.  Good to hear there is still a f13 channel, space is lonely and dark.

. Just got my Osprey, so I have some defense against the rats in my area. Though I do appreciate such a nice offer.

Edit: It's a race to see if I can hit 200 million off mining before the 2 weeks are up.

If I remember right I have somewhere around 10mil?  Or something maybe 8mil?  Might be 15, I really don't remember.  I know my beam skils were ok and ship flying wise I could fly a BShip but I had really just gotten to that point last time I quit.

I think you were right: groups of nubs with RSDs will still hammer a target into the ground.  It's the solo-gankers in stuff like recons that are really going to suffer, since the easy-mode option is now taken away.

That said, does anyone know what price are scripts selling for in empire right now?
