DSL outage affects customers in Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, North Carolina, South Carolina, Kentucky and Tennessee.  Fixed my ass.  My internet at work is still slower than dial up.  It's so bad I'm thinking of using my Sprint broadband card...

I got hit with that last night as well. What was loading was slow as shit, and most things just wouldn't load. So I just played Metroid and watched Heroes and it was fixed. Hell, their help phone line had waits in excess of 60 minutes. What I hate about it was that they will never tell you what the problem was, or who caused it.

All they need to do is lock out all those nasty p2p applications and everything will be fixed!

Somehow I did not notice.  All the porn was already downloaded, I guess.

EDIT: I heard about this earlier today from a coworker and after reading the article it seems like it was a DNS problem.  I happen to not use the AT&T DNS servers, rather I use OpenDNS.
