Anyone given this a try at all?  Just downloaded the demo after hearing some good things about it.  It's a post-apocalyptic, turn-based strategy/card game.  Bit of a pain in the ass to learn, and it's a little slow paced, but the gameplay is pretty deep.  The main downside is that it doesn't look like there's any multiplayer.  Worth taking a look at though.

Wow. At first glance it looks easy. Then you see (from looking at screenshots) that it's hex based and you seem to have a 7 card hand or so?

How long does a game take to play?

Yes, actually, I even bought a copy.

Velorath's assessment is pretty accurate - the GUI is garage-game awkward, and the pacing isn't perfect, but the gameplay is good.  It's a post-apocalyptic war board game with passing similarity to Settlers of Catan.

My played-it-to-death complaint would have to be that the randomness can get a bit frustrating sometimes.  Combat is resolved through a contested die roll system and sometimes the dice just hate you.  You can partially counteract this with "fate points", but those only go so far.

Hard to say.  The demo unfortunately will only let you play for 30 turns.  It would largely depend on how big you set the hex grid though, and I think they say somewhere that the smallest games take around an hour.

But with no multiplayer. It seems like the game was built for that. Sad really.

Very sad.  I can only hope that if the game does well enough, they'll make a multiplayer version.

I'll buy it simply based on premise if they add multiplayer.
