Can I get a number on how many people would be interested in doing a 3-month Sealed Deck league? I'm too lazy to post all the rule ideas I have, but, yea, just want to get a tally. Hoping there's at least 10.

I'm getting my rental of Culdcept tomorrow. Depending on how I like it I'll probably buy it and would definitely be in for some sealed league action. I'm a sucker for MtG so it sounds like this is a likely possibility. Give me a few days and I'll let you know.

I just started into it this evening, and while I'm still learning it, I think I'd definitely be interested, if the invitation's open to anyone interested.

My work schedule is such that I don't think I'd be too reliable for league play.

Yea, the first encounter was way harder than the DC or PS2 games.

I'm glad it wasn't just me.  I lost the first storyline match due to a double-whammy of no creature draws for the first few turns and a bad, bad roll that landed me on that bitch's only high-value land... costing me ~2400G which I most certainly did not have.  I found the second map to be easier for whatever reason, but this could be due to the particular cards I had.

The computer might cheat, but it's also stupid.  At least the first two AIs are.  I can't imagine that all of the AIs would summon a blue creature onto a red land when they were holding a red creature.

My draws are pushing me towards blue and yellow, but I agree the winnings seemed above-average.  After just three matches, winning two, I have more R and S cards than I think I should.

Why am I homeless?  Why do all you motherfuckers need homes is the real question.

I'm going to playing blue/red in non sealed matches, and blue in sealed ones. if it matters.

I'm down for a league.  I got the game today finally.  Feb. 5th was worse than the holiday release schedule for me personally, I have so many god damn games I want to play at once.

Count me in.  Got the last copy @ EB yesterday.  Will give it a go this morning.  I'll be available for games weekend mornings EST.  So I predict lots of wins by default.

I tried very hard to like this game. I made it to the third element map, but too many things about this game just annoyed the shit out of me. There is no way to speed up the game at all. You have to watch everyone elses turn at the same speed as your own turn. Including stupid AI comments every time they do anything. You cannot turn off all sounds. You can't acquire cards in any way other than 1 to 2 hour long matches against the AI and then you seem to just get some random cards.

I haven't tried multiplayer and maybe that is the appeal to the game but the single player of this game gets old really damn quick.

Yeah pressing the A button through all the NPC text is rather annoying, but i am glad they at least have the suspend game option now.  I have only completed a game in a single play session probably 4 times out of 30.

As I posted in the other thread, if you want to get cards without playing full matches and just play online you can
A) play blind matches (i.e. sealed deck)
B) Grind em out.  Create an AI player with all item/spell card book, and duel him in a 10 round match with 10 sec turn limits.  Just play your first 3 turns and put down several creatures, then go get a sandwich.  Takes about 5 mis to complete a game which on the big maps means 16 cards.  You CAN then take these cards in your SP game too...
