I'm still unsure if I'll pick up Mass Effect, but I'll definitely be getting Assassin's Creed and Rock Band.

I'm only getting Assassin's Creed and Mass Effect myself. And if I have any financial issues between now and next week it'll only be Mass Effect.
Kane & Lynch I'll probably get in January, if it gets good reviews.

I already have Mass Effect and Assassin's Creed on pre-order and have no intentions of changing that. I have a wait-and-see attitude for Kane & Lynch as well and I'm still debating whether or not I get Rock Band. I have a couple of buddies who are definitely getting it, so I'll try it out there first. Problem I have is that a game basically built around co-op won't get a ton of play in my house.

Super Mario Galaxy So, actually going to turn on the Wii?  Interests, budget, and systems owned will have me only buying Mass Effect with a wait and see on Assassin's Creed and a few others. |

Since when has that meant the games are finished, though? Ok, see, I'm cynical. But not this cynical. Most of those are console games from Major Developers and a lot of the reviews coming in are 8s and 9s and above for a lot of those titles. That at LEAST implies that they are in a state of being finished. It doesn't say anything about their quality though since game reviewers for whatever reason seem to be broken. - Yeg, Galaxy is out next week. Played it the other day. It sure is Mario. Fanbois will fucking love it, but that's about it. |

Alex McMoneyhats from Gamespot says it's the best one since Mario 64. I don't think this is a system seller for me, but it gets me closer to buying one to replace my Gamecube (nephews still have it.. when they're done.. do I really want it back? The germs, man, the germs).

Alex McMoneyhats from Gamespot says it's the best one since Mario 64. Mario 64 was a revelation for like 2 weeks. So that's not really saying much. Which also means, he agrees with me, it's not as good as SMW or SMB3. Which is to say, it shouldn't be getting 9s. |

SimCity is like The Sims these days. I don't know anything about SimCity Societies, but I do know that SimsVille was cancelled way back, that MySims is a ripoff of Animal Crossing, and that The Sims 2: Castaway is a ripoff of Lost in Blue.

Recently: I've gotten the Orange Box, The Witcher, Hellgate: London, The Bigs and an  And I want to get Mass Effect, Assassins Creed, GHIII, Crysis, CoD4 and maybe Blacksite and K&L. Other time commitments are that I've just started seeing a new girl, I'm traveling for a week in November and two in December and I have two major milestones at work in the next 3 months. WHERE THE HELL AM I GOING TO FIND TIME TO PLAY ALL THIS CRAP? Maybe I should just quit my job and live off savings until I get caught up? Hmm, that would probably take care of the gf problem too. |
