I don't think I'll ever punch anything on that card.  Maybe the scar thing, who knows what the future holds. My current facial scar is really small and hard to see.

If I stay in AZ long enough, I will get the rattlesnake bite achievement.

I've also finished 3 of them though I haven't even started a 4th yet. Looking over that list though, I think the Steve McQueen one may be tougher than the rattle snake one.

Yeah.  I ever see someone with that card, they're going to find out their car has a car bomb in it one day.

I've got ten and a half. I give myself half of the AT hike for all the mountains I climbed and basically spending my teens in the woods. I'm also not sure what a buckskin knife is, so I'm giving myself that one for carrying a poniard in a buckskin sheath before the cops confiscated it in an unrelated arrest.

The AT hike is unrealistic for anyone with a job, it's something like six months. I've hiked portions of that and the Long Trail (my favorite bar sits at the nexus of the two).

We don't have rattlesnakes and fuck deserts, so not getting that one.

Dick Proenneke is one of my heroes, but I don't see that one happening....but it's the one I'd want most on the list.

Probably won't take up bow-hunting, though I did hunt when I was younger.

Wish I had seen that list twenty years ago, it'd be done long ago.

Only if letting fruit ripen in the fridge too long counts. tongue

Theoretically I know how to weld, I've just never done it, and it'd be a good idea for me to get a refresher before trying.  Unless soldering counts.

Then I've also bow hunted, but never bagged anything.  I once almost got an exotic late in the morning, but my dad drove by and spooked it.  Really though I'm too weak for a proper draw.  Using a gun is more humane.

Successes are the knife, kitten rescue, and the scar.

I've never arc-welded, but acetylene isn't hard to learn; I was taught by a couple of Korean guys with terrible English skills.  Takes a little practice to get a clean line and not overheat the metal you're trying to weld is all.

Honestly, I have a much harder time keeping my solder joints from looking like shit.  swamp poop  They work, but anyone else looking at them would cringe.

Also, re: bowhunting...nothing on the card says you couldn't just beat the critter to death with the bow instead for extra manliness points  Oh ho ho ho. Reallllly?

Well, other than the hitch of the critter probably killing you in the process.  ACK!

That largely depends on whether you're hunting rabbits or boar.

I was assuming we were still on the 12 point buck topic, in which case it would likely kill you.  (horns and hoofs are sharp!)

And a picture to attempt and get back on topic!

Its basically the exact same thing (depending on the welding method)
