I'm not all that surprised since he did say he was "very, very young" when that was going on. I had a friend who did a bit of that while living in Romania while on some contract for tech work. It was a one time thing which didn't last long and never did again. A lot of us have done odd things in our past. Look at me! I used to be a girl and now I'm a wife! Who did YOU used to be?  |

When I was very young I cleaned people's houses and did their yardwork for 25 cents an hour. Back then, it was called "child labor". Aahhh, memories.
(I actually did do this for real - my mom's coworkers used to take advantage of me in this way. I even had to clean the inside of someone's fireplace once! And that's no metaphor.)
