The first boss is a snap once you figure out one thing. Same goes for any others. Then they fall pretty quickly. They do have a lot of health though, so it can get tiring sometimes.

PS2, best system ever.

A worthy successor to the SNES for that title. And a good reason why the newer stuff just doesn't seem that great to many people yet.

Fuck Halo 3.  Dead Rising is the 360's killer app dammit.

I wanted to love Dead Rising, I wanted to love it sooo bad, but the save system really frustrated me. At the risk of a Zar rant, I'm gonna say that Gears of War is the 360 killer app imo.

I still pick up and play Ninja Gaiden on my 360. I have much  Heart for that game.

Have you tried the internet? It's made out of millions of people missing the point of everything and then getting angry about it

Nahh, no rant.  GoW is a pretty game.  I found it dull and quit at the part where the big monster chases you around a broken down monastery thing, but I can see why people would like it.

Some interesting replies here. As I told Strazos in a PM I'm currently thinking about waiting to see how Folklore turns out. That game might be enough to cause me to break down and get the system. Get it and maybe get a used copy of Resistance. Then just hunker down and wait for the good games next year.

Though honestly, if Atlus would make games like Persona 4 on the 360, I'd pass on the PS3 altogether I suspect.

If I did not already have a PS3, Ratchet & Clank would be the system seller for me.

Yeah, Ratchet and Clank looks fantastic.  If I didn't have a PS3 already, that and Uncharted would definitely do it for me.

At least with Ratchet & Clank, they have a formula that I know I'm going to enjoy.  At the least,  I haven't heard anything about major gameplay overhauls or use of the sixaxis motion control.  That would probably lead to me selling my PS3 immediately and boycotting Sony forever and ever.

Well, a bundle with 360 + Forza 2 + Marvel Ult. Alliance is forthcoming at current prices, so you may want to hold off until that drops.
Eh, already have MUA on the pc (with wireless gamepad support).

I was kinda joking about the wedding present thing, she shot that down quick. I told her I was dumping her for the other librarian, but I don't think she bought it. And this xmas I hope to buy myself one of these.

I heard that the sixaxis will be used for a glider-type function (like from Going Commando, IIRC), which is fine by me.  As far as I can tell, the formula is intact, which means it will massage my balls like a korean immigrant.
