The first thing we do, let's kill all the SLCG

SLCG recruitment is currently closed.

Scholars, Lawyers, Courtiers, Gentlemen [SLCG]
is a growing 0.0 PvP corporation. Our second goal is to create a new kind of corp that has a place for everyone, from players fresh from their two week trial to players that have been flying for four years. Our first goal is to win and have fun. :D

Gentlemen ARE
- PvP pilots
- mature
- 0.0 based
- friendly
- NBSI

Gentlemen ARE NOT
- abusive
- exclusive
- nomadic
- blue to coalitions on either side

SLCG thinks Eve is fun
We fly out of NPC stations in Curse (our home is in G-G). We cater to the players that want to log in, join a gang, and start pew pewing immediately.

Pilots with a lot of playtime will find similarly advanced players with matching playstyles to fly with and a first class support system. Pilots with limited play time who join SLCG will find a environment that supports occasional PvP. Pilots with an industrial bent will turn a profit on internal corp business.

Many Gentlemen fly in crews. Current public crews include:
- All Who Wander: small gang pvp because we all know it's the most fun in Eve :P
- Gravediggers: 0.0 ship building because flying ships up the pipe is no fun

A crew is a small group of like-minded pilots who know and trust each other. A crew may have its own Teamspeak channel, chat channel, mailing list, and/or forum. A crew has a leader who listens to the members of the crew and decides what the crew will do. As a pilot progresses, he will be promoted. As a crew progresses, it will be promoted. Promotions bring additional benefits, privileges, and rewards. Any player can create new crews, change crews, and quit crews while always remaining a member of SLCG. Crew membership is not mandatory.

Many of the higher level crews are private and invitation-only.

There are no fees for SLCG members, no expected donations, and no excessive taxes. Most PvP crews will generally ask that you spend the majority of your game time PvPing, but members can always leave a crew to carebear for an extended period and come back to that crew when they're ready for more action. You will never be kicked from SLCG for being inactive, but a crew may kick inactive members. We all understand Eve is just internet spaceships and RL responsibility always comes first.

If you fly a carrier or Rorqual and are willing to do logistics, you can write your own ticket. Please PM, evemail, or convo Dwindlehop to name your price.

Gentlemen do not tolerate abusive pilots. If you experience a problem with a SLCG pilot, send a note or chatlogs to Dwindlehop.

Hail to the Queens, baby.

How many folks you got in your corp so far? Just wondering. :)

I may join just to hang out.

It's myself and RL friend. This is the first attempt towards expanding the corp I've made thus far. :D

What timezone do you guys play in? I'm looking for a casual pvp corp. My job has me in a remote Australian minesite for 2 weeks out of 3.

Great! The idea is you join now, play later.  :-D

I personally am Pacific and play late on weeknights, around 0200-0500 GMT. On weekends I play early, around 1800 GMT. I think Australia is probably going to be an okay timezone as long as you don't play too late and hit Russian prime.

I intend to grow the corp more. I figure F13 was a good place to shake out the kinks in the system before I went bigger. I take back everything bad I ever said about the Executive Commander new character option.

This week is pretty much devoted to logistics. I have the offices set up in Trytedald and G-G. I'm going to haul a bunch of mods and BPCs in to G-G to make it a useful home to live in.

Fantastic.  :-D

As a general note, we have no blues and so plenty of fights can be had just by undocking. This is good, as the whole point is to log in, shoot someone, and get on with your life. Also, I'll build you any non-battleship you need in G-G if you bring the BPC so the logistics are simple.

For now I'm flying Sabres and Hurricanes with solo fits. Once I open up recruitment more I'll be looking for a crew to coordinate gang fits with.

How are your crew with euro-timezone people, Dwindle? Or are any others here in a group with a decent euro contingent that does some PvP and accepts casual play? I'm driving most non-capital Caldari T2 ships (i.e. interceptor/AF/HAC/Recon/BS), as well as freighter and Gallente T1s. Can pay and replace my own toys.

Hey, you're welcome to join.  smiley

SLCG is still small, but I will be growing headcount until SLCG is a big sprawling mess across all timezones. Join and tell your euro friends to come, too.

This week I'm giving in and paying for a real TS server.

Thanks to everyone who showed interest. SLCG merged with Uninvited Guests, which has a similarly laid-back philosophy to PvP and a lot more members. As far as I can tell it's about evenly split between euro and US. If anybody from here wants to join I can hurry the application process right along.

edit2: http://www.scrapheap-challenge.com/viewtopic.php?t=10725 - Recruitment thread. contact Draycar Hazaran or winterfell991 for more info. Or CEO Aradaneth.

I will say Uninvited Guests and my corp have PVPed together before and I have nothing but good things to say about them. We had them join us on our vent and were mature and skilled players.

Hope everything works out for you guys.
