The Wall Street Journal is reporting that Barry Diller's InterActiveCorp (IAC) will announce today that it has acquired a majority stake in GarageGames, developing browser-based 3D games for its upcoming InstantAction.com gaming site.

Sounds cool. Will be interesting to see the custom browser plugin. Barrier to entry for the lose :( You plugging into Shockwave at all or it's 100% custom?

I can't go into details right now, but additional information will be forthcoming.
I can say that we've not historically done much in the way of direct integration with Flash, Shockwave, Java, or related systems.
