Alright guys. Areae tipped me off to this since they're using it to show off thier Myspace-Peen.

I give you: TECH CRUNCH 40!.

There's so many great logos and small ideas with huge fundings. Let's start with Tru Tap. That shit looks pretty redundant and unnecessary.

Quote
Trutap is a mobile social-networking application that enables users to stay connected with offline and online friends regardless of where they are in the world. The application also claims to work with all social networks, IM clients, network carriers and mobile phone devices.

Trutap is accessible through a downloadable mobile application and their web browser experience synchronizes all Trutap messages, conversations and contacts. The application lets users communicate with individuals or groups via text, picture and instant messaging. The service also enables users to link to their social networks, upload pictures and update their blogs.

Sort of like Ping Pals for the DS.

It's hard to replace features my phone already has, for free, built-in, out of the box.

Edit: Not to mention they have the word "Tru" in their company title. If that's not the sign of inevitable epic failure, I don't know what is. The logo sure is nice though.

Hmm Tru "tap" indeed.

I found it ironic.

And I was refering to the screen full of logos, for determining who would survive.  Since I should not toss a dart at my screen.  Because that would be either ineffective or damaging to my screen.  I now think I should have had some quote of a link so as to establish context, but too late for that.  Maybe next time.

I can make a humor-addendum to your post, but I felt you had constructed a standards-compliant Internet Joke which achieved its goal.

Why am I homeless?  Why do all you motherfuckers need homes is the real question.

Was my response too dry?

You know, Nerf darts with the little suction cups on them would work great, and it would go along with that whole "Paperless Office" thing you love so much.

Sometimes, when posting an internet joke, I will mumble it in my Latka Gravas voice, then quitely say "Dankyouveddymuch" as I click the Post button.

Do not taunt the Paperless Office.

Kerpoof seems kind of cool. Kind of an interactive Flash based story book creator. They should make it so you can 'publish' your book through CafePress/CreateSpace.

Reminds me of 'The Movies', but 2D and in Flash.

I guess that would make MS Word kinda cool, too.

Mint looks pretty cool. I'm gonna try it out. I hate having to log into multiple sites to check all my accounts, and am too lazy to update a program like Microsoft Money or the like.

This week, Yahoo announced a deal with Bebo that will help it compete with Google. I had to wiki Bebo to find out it’s kind of like Friendster and Woofie. Gosh, I hope they can all band together to save Fuzzelton village from the evil Snords. Grow up. If I want to see uncaring, money-making machines with cutesy names, I go to a strip club.

"Should the batman kill Joker because it would save more lives?" is a fundamentally different question from "should the batman have a bunch of machineguns that go BATBATBATBATBAT because its totally cool?". ~Goumindong

That seems unlikely.
