Nah, I just found it funny that a country where I would feel decidedly unsafe can claim in an international statistic they have a low rate of people dying.

It had nothing at all to do with Ireland. At all.

Are you insane?  I am taking about PAKISTAN right now, obviously I don't feel unsafe in Ireland or I wouldn't make my vacation there.

Whoa, calm down all.

I loved the Yugoslavia story tho.  Travel Agent cancelling for you sends a message right enough...

Sorry Tebonas, I thought the Pakistan comment came out of the blue, now I see I opened the door by mentioning Yugoslavia.

Guess this bit is true.

Quite tolerant of them. Most of the time they accept that you have their opinion.  :-D

No harm done. Such things can happen once in a while with written words, which are a crude instrument. Usually nobody involved is blameless  smiley

Just imagine if you'd done that in a pub.  You'd be picking glass out of your face by now.

Ironwood reminds me how I regret not going into that pub under the bridge with the NO COLORS sign outside it, somewhere over toward the Peoples' Museum.

Need more to work on than that. That sign is on half the bars in Glasgow. The Spirit?

Yeah, I cannot really remember, it was in September 2001.  Definitely under a rusty iron bridge.  Definitely had a Tenants sign out front.  Somewhere on the way to the People's Museum from what I assume to be the "old downtown" area; I was staying in the Babbity Bowster.  I guess that doesn't narrow it down, either.
