Ok. So, lots of people ask, particularly after the hastily thrown together wallpaper, where are shirts. Right. Well, here's the problem. Cafepress is dick and I don't want to have to deal with shirts, so if someone has a company who will make, ship, and Not Take All the Profits, here's the deal. I'm willing to design shirts (and another person on the board is willing to also). But where do we have them made? While I'll be posting shirts in this thread, I suppose the more important part is the how, not the what. Anyway. Help? Anyone have a printing press or own a t-shirt company? (i lolled).

(I'm thinking of changing the grind background into a gear or treadmill shape)

I'd say the best bet for the initial run is to let people pre-order them.  This allows you* to get a correct volume quote, and order enough to fill demand without having to keep a stock.

*Or whatever shmuck you con into doing the legwork.

IMO, you can't go wrong with Black & White, but yeah, a background change would help. You have a cluttered background behind a distorted logo. Something solid and easily recognizable like a gear or treadmill would add weight and legibility to the foreground. But that's just me. I like clean and simple design because there is no goofing around involved.

I'm not really sure if you were looking for a critique or not  :-D

Meh, I've put out a shitton of marketing material over the years, and I think it looks just fine.  The grinds in the background are fairly muted and don't overpower f13.
Also, I don't mean to be an ass, but that link you posted wasn't meant to be a brag book was it?  If so, I'm terribly sorry, I really am.

No, that's a link to the warren ellis logo with a gear behind it. I didn't mean gear so much as to put the grinds in a circle :P

As much as I love the site, I don't know about T-Shirt grinding as the means to get more epic loots. Why not let Signe design one?  wink

I don't get the grinding for loots joke. I can change the word in the background to "internet" or "cockstab" or "zombie" as necessary.

Schlid, I could have it done in Tampa for about $9 apiece if you could get it down to straight black and white. Currently I'm working on a Chuck Norris's tears cure cancer shirt :)

I've used customink.com before and your design is somewhere around $14 USD per shirt.

Edit: I also don't mind running around looking at the T-Shirt design places around here. I live about five minutes from the USF campus and there are at least five places that make shirts. I wouldn't mind getting quotes/doing your bitchwork for you as long as I can get a shirt for free! :D

I demand a Crotch Pheasant shirt. I would definitely buy the F13 one if it didn't have the grind in the background. The logo itself is love.

I have my own line of Game Angst shit, but since I not allowed to link to it from this site, I'll just be pissy and say that's a good idea I should have already thought of.

Since this *is* a gaming site, how about a mouse pad or similar?

I have enough black shirts with random logo on the front .. (not that I don't like the logo, I think it looks cool!).

I don't even get the joke, that's how deep it goes. How about a carrot on a stick with the F13 logo under it?

EDIT: Better yet, fuck shirts. Let's put the F13 logo on Berets. Do you realize how awesome that would be?

Don't start fucking with a gamers mouse surface.  Mine was created with a secret formulation of plastic, win, and the foreskins of freshly circumcized arab children (you don't think they let the mohels in training practice on jews, do you?).
Berets are just too french, why not just print the logo on some white flags? You've got a built in market if you're targetting the french.

My vote goes for hats/visors.

I'll take one in black.

No mouse pads- my LtM one is still working fine  :-D

I am good for at least 1 shirt of every design, provided that they come in the proper size. Just knock the poles out of tent, slap the graphics on it, and ship it to me.

The scraping sound of a mouse across a desk is annoying. Plus I like the angle of my hand on the mouse better. Plus it is from LUM! It is old school and cool and shit.

I'm still using my LtM mouse pad too!  It's rather ragged at this point though and I'd love to retire it with the help of an f13 replacement.  I'd buy a shirt too.

If I had f13 pads, I'd want them made by Razer or IceMat.

It's not 1997.

Teenagers don't even wear shirts with the word "hate" on them.

Edit: Sorry if that sounded like a slight, I just felt no reason not to be blunt.
