So, I eat lunch with 3 African American coworkers most days. (and 1 of them every single day unless he is sick or something.) According to them I'm more black than they are because of some of my habits. (for instance I despise Mayonaise, it literally makes me gag.)
So they suggested I watch Undercover Brother and I did. And I laughed my ass off more than any comedy I've seen in years. I'm sure most people on here hated it but for some reason it really killed me.
ETA: I forgot to mention I must be an older black man since I don't like hip hop and rap but I do like the blues and 70's type music. My coworkers are all in their 30's - 50's (the ones I eat with.)

Other than Chris Kattan, I fucking loved Undercover Brother. It was hysterical.

Normally I don't like him but he was funny. I loved when "James Brown" goaded him into screaming "I'm black and I'm proud!" Lol. Still, Dave Chapelle stole every single scene he was in.

I am not ashamed to admit that I love that movie. Oddly, I actually found Chapelle to be one of the weaker parts, but that may just be a personal dislike.
And mayo on sandwiches is gross.

I think I enjoyed Chapelle because 1) he's just damn funny and 2) his character reminded me of one of my coworkers. Heh.

I loved Undercover Brother, and I especially like Neil Patrick Harris as the white affirmative action dude. Oh and I only like Reduced Fat Mayo. The regular stuff just tastes like eggs to me.

Rob Schneider makes me want to punch everyone in Hollywood right in the face. I had to look up how to spell that last name.

Undercover Brother: You know what they say, behind every great black man... Conspiracy Brother: is the police. Undercover Brother: No. Smart Brother: A bunch of slow white athletes? Undercover Brother: No! White She-Devil: A cute butt. Undercover Brother: NO! Lance: Probable cause.

I loved Undercover Brother…
…I hate mayonaisse …I like some hip-hop, not most of the crap that comes out today, but the old school rappers like Grandmaster Flash, or the BlueNote compilation deal (US3)… …and I dig the blues and the old Motown stuff too…

I could not watch all of Undercover Brother.
Pootie Tang, on the other hand, I could not stop laughing during. (not that they really have anything in common other than stereotype jokes)

I don't like regular mayo or salad cream and I like blues more than most hip hop. I guess I'm an elderly black man, too. Poor Righ!

Mayo makes me gag. If I want a condiment, that's what spicy mustard is for.
Haven't seen the movie. The trailer did make me giggle.

My cousin (who is black) recommended this movie to me several years ago. It was fricking hilarious. It was funny being ridiculous without being THAT kind of dumb and stupid that I hate. The stereotypes were well done and thought out on all sides without being overdone by the Wayans brothers for the last 15 years.

I like mayo in moderation. But in general I avoid it when ordering food with it since I don't like a lot of it. That's especially true if I go to a po-boy shop run by black women, or a Bud's Broiler (N.O. burger chain staffed exclusively by black women). They tend to grab a spatula and slather on a giant, disgusting glob.
Musical tastes are fairly white I suppose. Not much into hip-hop. I do like jazz and blues, but I was exposed to it a lot growing up since my parents were in the music business. And I was named after the greatest N.O. pianist.

I enjoyed that the stereotypes were on both sides. IE, they even skewed themselves some. Like hiring Neil Patrick Harris's character because of Affirmative Action, complete with an annoyed eye roll.

So someone named their child Professor Longhair? Mayo in small doses. hip hop is ok, no crunk. If you can't sing, you damn well better have flow, for fucks sake.

I'm the exact opposite. I found nothing in Pootie Tang that funny but Undercover Brother I laughed at like crazy and am considering buying.
