Loads of bugs, but it wouldnt be FC if there wasnt
- Guild city can be destroyed by all members in the guild - The aliens are a little shy so GM have to spawn the attacks - a few memory leaks it seems and so on.
but... i had the most fun in AO in a long time. Racing through a spaceship on time with guildmates is fun :) And Our city is beautifull
a few patches and i hope it will be real good.

After reading the forums, this is what I gathered from the launch. Take it for what it's worth:
- Player vendors were left out, to be patched in later. - Alien Invasions on player cities were borked, but they're getting fixed pretty fast. Looks like they may be redoing alot of how the encounters are done.
- City plots have a really high price tag, and worse, high upkeep cost. Luckily for the players, upkeep costs aren't even turned on yet, and won't be for a while.
- Some problems with player cities, like people loosing hundreds of millions in their city bank. Think the big problems are pretty much fixed now though.
- Aliens seem to be too strong, give low xp, and drop so-so loot.
- I think the pet leets were bugged for a day or two, but working now.
A few quests and items were probably also in the expansion, but for the most part, that's it. No reason for someone not in a good guild to buy it, and noth much there aside from player cities and invasions on those cities.

Perhaps upkeep costs will be the new fall damage? Fall damage was so buggy related to zoning and people in flying vehicles it was turned off. Then on after they had claimed to have fixed it, then off again when, quelle surprise, it wasn't fixed after all. Was still off in 15.6.1. Is there any solo content at all in this expansion? I have unsubbed every MMORPG I was in, but might resub AO if it gets any more interesting Rubi-ka-side solo-oriented content - and they lose the sucky new "crash site backyard". Oh, and fix the chat system. And a few other irritating "features" and bugs.

Yeah quite a few bug's still.
City upkeep is disabled because if the zone restarts it will empty the upkeep pool. Quit a lot of money lost that way.
The alien spawning is... somewhat bugged still. They did a semi fix so you dont need a ARK to spawn them, but its unpredictable and .. bugged.
High pricetag i think is good, it might be a bit steep now. If it was too cheap there would be ql300 cities all over. There should be some advantage to being a big org.
And there realy needs to be a pulled some money of of the economy.
Alien XP is bugged and / or just designed realy strange. You get the same amount of xp for killing a level 250 super alien as killing a level 10 in the new backyard. I have a hard time getting to alien level 2 as a level 211, but a level 3 in the new beginner area will get that no problem.
But again, when the aliens finally do spawn... its actully fun fun fun so far :)

but its unpredictable and .. bugged. "Hah! Noone expects the Alien Invasion! Our chief weapon is bugs and GMs... Our TWO chief weapons are bugs, GMs and a fanatical dedication to the hive queen... Our THREE most significant weapons are bugs, GMs, a fanatical dedication to the hive queen and the armaments of the mother ship... Blast!" AO was ruined for me by playing the simplicity of CoH (though the simplicity meant I left, bored, rather quickly too), and the loot-generosity of AC1 (which has too steep power levels in my experience, so I'm outta there too). I have foolishly preordered WoW, MEO and M:O, so I am still addicted to MMOGs, though.

Things actully work now. The aliens come when we lower the cloaking shield. And there is a chance of a random attack, but not too many.
The aliens give decent Alien XP
The difficulty of the Aliens have been good for our guild, but it might still be hard on guild that have low level people.
Even non guilded have a place in the attacks as they dont add to how many aliens arrive and can save the day if they help when you are under pressure.
Solo still not too good. You need to go to the new cities to find aliens, and you realy need to team up to get AXP
Tradeskillers are slowly finding out how to build the many new weapons, and armors.
