I'm surprised they'd even leave the trains running in that area.

Sir, it is menstrual art. How the fuck could one do it well? I could possibly drown her in it and take a picture. Would that garner a "Le Art" from Haemish?

Only if you video taped it, then used it as an Internet meme grief link.

Fuck me, that bitch gets museum showings? Le sigh. Out of 20 or so paintings on her site, a grand total of 1 was mildly interesting. Has art fallen so far that we have to gimmick spew using bodily fluids to make it interesting.

Oh right, yeah it has. Fuck art. Art is fucking deader than disco.

Rickrolling, while moderately amusing, is instead a high crime against humanity if only because it makes me sing that fucking shitastic song all goddamn day until I want to drive it from my brain with a rusty drill bit.

Given that his producers followed up that UK #1 hit with Kylie Minogue's "I Should Be So Lucky" and had preceded it with the US #1 "Venus" cover by Bananarama, I think that is a fate too good for them.

Most people are pretty nostalgic when it comes to music. Perhaps in your youth you enjoyed yourself at venues where that music in that style was popular? :)

Quote
"We make gay records, there's no question about it and we're not afraid to say that," says Pete of the music that Stock, Waterman and Aitken make. "I've always fought for fast dance records to be acceptable in the hipper clubs. To keep people dancing you've got to have up' music, with lots of excitement and a heavy bass drum. The music I heard in those gay clubs was like that. Everyone was dancing. But I immediately twigged what was wrong. The records they were playing were cheap and nasty. I knew I could give them exactly what they wanted, with quality."

She didn't get museum time, another artist did. She does, in fact, suck.

Honestly, I never had much of a problem with songs that have a good rhythm and I can sing along poorly to (this rules out most modern R&B and rap and insane death\black metal).  I've also been told I'm "a tone deaf little prick" too.

Considering I grew up in an environment where this music flat out didn't exist when it was new, I enjoy listening to it when it comes on the radio or the tube.  I don't get angry and demand sphincters of the producers on a plate, but I haven't worked up that much hate and rage towards cheap disposable 80's and 90's pop music.  I've been told that the reason I don't have the hate is because I wasn't forced to listen to it 100,000 times a week when it was new, so that may be part of it.  As it stands I've heard the song maybe 5-6 times and only knew who it was because I first heard it on VH1's Top One Hit Wonders list in the last year or two.

I still find Rickrolling funny when done properly (with subtlety, not for every fucking link in every other post).  I would never stoop to such juvenile behavior myself as Kip Winger would be more my style.

Fuck, I was in Connecticut a few months ago.  Why wasn't I told about this?  At current exchange rates that's virtually free food.

Why were you in Connecticut?  Was there a paintball convention?  You should have asked everyone what to visit.  I would have told you to avoid CT police because they are insane.

I recommend everyone go to Wendy's drive-through and do bad impressions of the Governator. They've got a new sandwich, the baconator (just a bacon double cheezburg). I get a stupid thrill out of that. First time I did my ahnold into the mic I heard everyone cracking up over their mics. Good times at the drivethru.

I... well... I might just have been to every other state in New England that week and was close to CT.  I've heard an ugly rumour that I wanted to, sort of, catch 'em all.

Rhode Island wasn't exactly a bundle of laughs, either, while we're on the subject.  I loved New Hampshire, though, so you're working with the odd tastes of someone who once had a few days free one February and so flew from Edinburgh to Duluth.

I should have asked, though, you're right.
