Really cool site if your in to PVE. http://www.wowjutsu.com/us/Has all the gear and ranking and stuff, go check it out. I found it pretty neat. Its all done by querying the armory site. |

Heh.. it's too easy to manipulate a low-ranked guild into a higher ranking. My old guild hasn't killed Gruul yet, but is marked as having done so because one of their new membersis from a guild that DID down Gruul and they won loot. So it tags the guild as having downed a mob they haven't done.
Funny.. but still a nifty idea.

Yeah, I think thats a bug in the beta, since in the FAQ it said its not supposed to do that.

It probably wasn't parsing before the person changed guilds.
The only real situation which the code fails hard is cross server transfers but those are nigh impossible to account for to be honest.

It's quite accurate at the high end at least. My guild's rank matches up almost exactly to Bosskillers ( www.bosskillers.com). |

My guild's not listed... but that one might be because we barely have 10-11 level 70s, and run Kara with another, bigger guild's alts and "night-shift members" (the other guild's completed Mag, iirc). We do have gear from prince/illhoof/netherspite/etc to show for it, too.
Also, the BT uberguild on my server is selling Gruul/Mag runs, I wonder how that'll affect the rankings. :P

We have been selling loot from those as well. I assume unless he puts some safeguards in the guilds they're in (assuming they're tracked) will get flagged as having completed those bosses. The thing is a lot of those people are in guilds that probably aren't even being scanned anyway. From his comments on Elitist Jerks, he has some plans for shoring up the checking on guilds and keeping more detailed track. Like if a guild has one guy with loot from Vashj, but no one else has loot from 3 bosses in SSC, it'll ignore it. Little things like that. He also is planning on tracking people so that he can identify when someone transfer. He's planning on doing this by "fingerprinting" people by their factions or something.
