A new interview with Adam Carpenter who is the lead developer of Fury has just been put up on the net.  There is about 10 minutes of discussing with him the current situation of MMO's and why it has been hard for his game to successfully break the mold WoW has created for MMO's.

I am upset he didn't include the amount of time it would take to download on a 56k modem.

I... I have one of those....

We're outside of city limits... so not annexed... so no cable lines run out here.  We're too far away from whatever-the-hell we need to be close to for DSL.  It's hell.  But I am moving soon, and I am very happy about that.

( A plus is that we live right on the Cape Fear.  Like...where the ocean meets the river. )

I... I have one of those....

We're outside of city limits... so not annexed... so no cable lines run out here.  We're too far away from whatever-the-hell we need to be close to for DSL.  It's hell.  But I am moving soon, and I am very happy about that.

Yeah, I have to pay for satalite.... its almost not worth the money or the trouble.
