Is that a Bud Light on your desk Hoax?

With all that rent to pay, he can't afford GOOD beer.  ;)

I traded in my fun blog for several legal blogs. Or, "blawgs," as the cutesy attorney blawgosphere likes to call 'em.

I may as well wait and show off the shiny new toys.

Did you take a good look at my pics?  If you like Where's Waldo, try to find the crate of NES cartridges and the UO cloth map.  Two copies of Gothic II in the same shot.  A box of Titanic: Adventure Out of Time.  A non-working monitor.  You can't quite make it out but there's a GBA.  A NES controller and a Logitech PS2 controller.  A 100' roll of ethernet cable.  Microsoft Sidewinder from the mid-nineties.  Broken Alienware laptop plus accoutrements.  A full-frontal shot of the Final Fantasy NES cart (original paper map behind a door).  Map of Cyrodiil tacked over a map of Vaardenfell.  And finally, did you see my computer?

Furniture courtesy Target.

Does that thing levitate or do you have some invisible way of suspending it in mid air?  Or maybe I have finally cracked and am only imagining it floating.

Paneling is a nice counter to the white walls everyone else has, and your brown shag is classic.  Kudos.

One of the gameroom walls extends down into the family room because of the stairway.  We can't decide a good color that will match the red of the hallway and the french grey of the family room without making the Gameroom a dark and horrible space.   So it remains 'queen anne's lace' (not white!)

There's no shame in crap hardware Slack.
If I get a 360, I'll have to also buy an HDTV because it just makes no sense to play the damn thing on a regular television.

But it works.  I have a pretty large regular TV though, so I'm not having that much trouble with the tiny text in Dead Rising.

No need to post my gaming areas, they're barely gaming areas.  Wife has thoroughly invaded both.

They're not bad surround speakers, and the reason I bought it was mostly the sub. It's splendidness incarnate. I do need a pair of big stereo speakers, but they never seem to hit the top of the priority list for that price range.

I use to live in a band house. I despise messiness, though I do have a junk room for storage, that's a serious mess. You gotta have a pressure valve imo.

I would lie awake at night if my TV was off center.   I'm completely OCD about that kind of thing.  All tools have to be in perfect order.  Pictures have to be straight.

I will spend DAYS measuring for speaker placement.

I'm dead serious.

I straighten my TV, Couch or Speakers about 3 times a week. All of my shit is in it's own little box. Kind of like Sim City 1. And everything in that 9x9 area needs to be straight. At night, the last thing I'll do before getting in bed is adjust the charis in front of the Arcade Machine.

Console Setup -

mods to this since I took the picture: More 360 games, sold Red Steel (thank everything), picked up Super Paper Mario, traded PS2 GHII for 360 version.

Desktop Setup -

Two Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles action figures ended up on my desk after Easter. My family is weird. The action figures in the cubbies on the right, by the by, are from the poorly concieved and even worse-selling Shadowrun Duels action-figure game.

Hee. :)

I assume you are referring to the tabletop RPG, because the released-today videogame is an affront to all that man has built over the last two thousand years? I do love it so, especially in the newest edition. I usually take a turn behind the GM screen, but right now I'm playing a Face/Hacker in a game on Tuesdays.
