Wait... George Clooney is associated with something that uses a club to hit you with the message?  I can't see that ever happening...

2020 will be the year I gave up all hope.

Yeah, apparently Bird and Lindelof wanted to keep the plot a big secret because...who the fuck knows. They didn't even want people to write about scenes in the trailer, despite the fact that they were, you know, in the trailer.

And as far as I can tell the movie doesn't have any crazy twist or startling plot revelation that could be ruined. Seems like Bird and Lindelof are just bonkers and up their own asses.

Now the secret will never be spoiled because nobody saw the movie.

vampirehipi23: I would enjoy a book written by a monkey and turned into a movie rather than this.

Not going to lie, the first trailer made me think it was some futuristic Oz story.  Girl in wheat field turns around and sees the Emerald City.  With jetpacks.

Huh. That has potential, and the entire Baum run of Oz books is in the public domain. It's a lot easier to avoid copyright claims from the 1939 film if you avoid anything that looks like that version of Oz.

I'd watch it.

if at last you do succeed, never try again
