Trailer here.

Di Caprio, Scorcese, Coach Taylor.

I know I'm a chronic traileritis sufferer but this looks damn fun.

Always a fan of DiCaprio, and this is the sort of role he's made for.

Saw this tonight. A bit ambivalent. I luv me some Scorsese and it is really well done but doesn't have quite the same power as Goodfellas (or even Casino) despite some similarities.  Lots of good t&a though.

Utterly pointless movie. Coke and hookers got really boring and passe once 60 minutes in you realize that is all that is on offer. If not for the fat kid from Superbad being pretty damn funny would have been a total waste. Didn't even tell the story just showed the partying.

I wonder if Liar's Poker or Flash Boys will get a film adaptation. I don't doubt this "book" is just utter shit in comparison to Michael Lewis' stuff.

A nation consists of its laws. A nation does not consist of its situation at a given time. If an individual's morals are situational, then that individual is without morals. If a nation's laws are situational, that nation has no laws, and soon isn't a nation.

Sad, boring film.
I'm a week after the show and I remember only the scene with McConaughey and a scene with getting back with the car "without a scratch".
If it will get any Oscar I will LOL.

After reading a couple of takes on it I think it is accurate that this is basically a comedy. If you go into it thinking it is drama (a la Goodfellas) then then tone is off.

I saw this on the plane from New Zealand.  An enjoyable film but not up to the Oscar hype.

I have never played WoW.

The movie was worth it for spawning this.
