Wow. I guess that my sharpie + Hanes t-shirt "emo kills" slogan from the late 90s needs to be updated to "emo gets you killed." That's just fucked up.

I traded in my fun blog for several legal blogs. Or, "blawgs," as the cutesy attorney blawgosphere likes to call 'em.

Until ALJ reports it this story should really be presumed fake. The sources are all sketchy to nonexistent. Its likely that pic of a dead kid is real, he might even be the kid with the emo haircut and he might even have been killed by authorities/moral police/some other set of religious assholes. Yes the link is from bbc but you notice there is no journalism to this story. It went viral over the weekend and has shown up on reddit, twitter etc but despite what people think that doesn't make things true.
