Did. You pretty much have to right away, mouse isn't mapped correctly be default so you have to change alot of keys around to get it working.
Might be the reason the control feels clunky now thinking about it. Way I have things set up now the mouse moves the turret around to aim. If I recall right, weren't you able to independently move the mouse cursor around to fire at things without moving the turret? At least in the earlier games. I should investigate that abit more. Might help with the way the game feels.
The game really shows it's age. The graphics and controls don't seem nearly as good as I remember. But then again I never played MW4, just 2 and 3. So that is just nostalgia on my part.
MW4 felt like a lumbering elephant compared to 2 & 3.
For some reason they got rid of independent arm and torso aim. I can't imagine why, being able to control you mech's aim horizontally three four different ways was so awesome.
Don't try and fine aim with the mouse unless it's a really expensive one. Use it to point your mech, hold your torso steady, and turn your mech until you're pointing where you want to shoot.
