I got DoW during a previous sale and only got about a half hour into it. This kind of stuff is much better for gamers with more time on their hands...but they've probably played most of these already.

The original DoW annoyed me to no end. Felt like I was fighting the horrible pathing and obstacle courses more than the enemies. But then I suck at rts games anyway.

Own every title, love Relic for a decade, DoW2-1 (soul storm)makes me start to doubt them. Even CoH latest release was weak.

Soulstorm wasn't by Relic, it was by Iron Lore and the last title they shipped before closing.
DOW2 just had a huge "fix everything" patch... haven't tried it yet.

If you haven't played CoH I strongly recommend it. Great, great WW2 game!
Unfortunately Relic's patcher doesn't play well sometimes with my computer.
