I will not deal with Guild Drama.  Take this as you will.   why so serious?

No Nerf, but I put a link to this very thread and I said that you all can guarantee for my purity. I even mentioned your case, and see if they can take a look at your lawn from a Michigan perspective.

What in the fuck, guy? I am about the least guild drama oriented person you'll ever meet.

1) I set up a run of Great Barrows with Voco and Zendrak (sorry about the Z name; I am not good with the names yet) for 8pm
2) When I offered up one spot, you proceeded to say, and I quote, "Don't worry about them, we'll run them through later." This was five minutes to 8. I was uncomfortable because I had made prior plans with these two folks and you were insisting on putting yourself in the middle of it. Strike Fucking One because I like keeping what commitments I can.
3) Things went a bit pear shaped on their end so we get you in after receiving a lecture about... something.

But the piece de resistance, the true number one shimmy, was when my wife decided to duck out due to not having the level requirement for the next quest (in the interest of hopefully getting some other folks in) you said, with no warning, "Idiot." We're on vent saying "What in the fuck was that?"

So guild drama? Seriously? Jesus, guy, we just wanted to run an instance and you're blathering for days, insulting family members and doing God knows what else. And THEN you bring it up here, in public? Seriously? Livejournal drama on f13, instigated by you, in order to not have livejournal drama on f13?

Don't sweat it. Removing myself from the guild or, alternately, go ahead and kick us, please. Good luck.

I'm actually going to dial that invective back but I'm not going to edit those thoughts. The fact remains that you were thoughtless at best, acting bizarre and autistic at worst. The whirlwind show you put on over the course of an hour, culminating in the very strange calling my wife an idiot, was totally unwarranted. The handful of folks I brought with me were ready to split immediately, whereas my initial reaction was "Let's chill a bit. We're new here." But, yeah, we'll do our own thing and f13's for sure not the place for this.

Don't be dumb in front of the next round of recruits and I seriously do mean that constructively.

I wish I'd paid more attention to the crazy prior to inviting my family to witness it. If that was the modus operandi of prior Bat Countries I have a new insight into why everyone around here hates MMOs.

Anyway, if anyone wants to group up in the early 20s, add Brocktoon to your friends list since I'm not in guild anymore. We'll rock some stuff.

I am the most sane person here.

I stand by my reputation - I am sure there is a slight perception issue here.  I prefer to nip things in the bud before the spiral out of hand.

Well, I pretty well figured that out in short order. I'm fishing for some proof story from days of yore, like in Bat Country EQ2 him screaming the Ave Maria over Teamspeak or something.

Please don't leave the guild over, what ever this was. Also, this is not an F13 guild. There just happens to be a bunch of us.

Ship has sailed, sir. I do appreciate you guys having us in there but this is simply not a good idea. If there was some sort of true understanding that, yeah, maybe I shouldn't have been a bonehead coming from the other quarter then it'd be cool. As it is, I was going to let it lie until it got put up in the forums for everyone to see. My tolerance for that sort of thing is incredibly thin in the best of circumstances, much less in a game I play as a secondary, super casual romp in the atmosphere of the game.

All i care about is playing together, and having fun. I despise drama. Seems we lost about 6 due to this.....what ever it was. And that's not cool.

Think of the hobbits!

Drama can be entertaining, I joined a large EU guild.  They call each other kin all the time and say ding each time one of them levels up, I'm only sticking it out because one of the leaders flipped out the other day over something so minor I actually forget what it was.

I'm offering sex if you return, and just let time pass, and continue the fun we did have.  why so serious? Cheddars post was of the ironic sort.

Then this is where you /friend people and we run an instance someday. Even by the broadest of standards, being in a guild where you probably need to put an officer on ignore is a good indicator of Time To Leave.

I would also say this is a teachable moment but since Cheddar is the "sane" one on the forums I'm doubtful as to the outcome. Done with this though on the forums, though, for real.

How can you have this much drama in a game that has one raid and almost no pvp?!

If you can read this, you're on a board populated by misogynist assholes.

Naw. Animosity implies an attempt to provoke, which I'm not trying to do.

More possible than making Eve seem as interesting as LotRO in terms of actually being a game.
