OK, I'll bite. wth is an online initiative?
Yes, I know I'm paranoid, but am I paranoid enough?
Icarus provides MMO middleware. They've just signed up someone to provide the servers and infrastructure that can scale to meet player demand. Assuming* that those capabilities are decent, it could drop the barriers for some MMOs to be developed. Depending on how much hand-holding Icarus does, they could next start publishing MMOs.
Regardless, this adds at least another six months to Fallen Earth's launch time.
* I know - assuming makes an ass out of you and Ming.
The biggest issue is that nagging memory leak in the client and the fact that the company they hired to do their billing is a bunch of drooling, retarded subhumans.
